The injury bug bites the Huskers once again this year.  This time it is another linebacker in backup Phillip Dilliard and backup corner Isaiah Fluellen. 

Dillard’s injury took place on a kickoff coverage play in the first half and Fluellen’s happened on his first play from scrimmage as a Husker at cornerback.  Looks like Dilliard can either use his redshirt or medical redshirt for this injury and hopefully come back strong in 2007.

Fliellen wasn’t even touched when he fell down in his first place at corner back.  He was running backwards and turned before falling to the ground.  This injury is not good as the secondary is already thin with the injury to Zachary Bowman.
