Steve Octavien who has been bothered by a hamstring injury most this season was given his blackshirt yesterday and should be ready to go on Saturday against Texas. Nebraska is going to need his speed at the linebacker position but just how ready will he be?
Octavien reported to camp 15 lbs heavier then last year and really hasn’t showen signs of his playmaker ability that we thought he would. The hamstring injury slowed him down evern further but Coach Callahan says that he 100% and ready to roll so we have to trust coach that the puts the best players out there to compete. Good luck Octavien, we all want to see you cracking some longhorns on Saturday!
