Bill Callahan has already met with one assistant coach and could be meeting with two-three more in the next few days. Callahan and Steve Pederson need to hire a defensive line coach to fill into John Blake’s position as he is headed to North Carolina.
Alabama defensive line coach Buddy Wyatt interviewd for the job yesterday and said that it went very well. A few other names that are being thrown around on the Internet for possible replacements are Eric Roack from SMU, and John Palermo from Miami.
It will be interesting to see who Pederson selects, hopefully they are a great recruiter and fit in just as well as Blake has for the Huskers.
