Well talk about a weird thing that happened to former Husker running back Brandon Jackson this week. He is being told he HAS TO attend this weekend Premiere event in Los Angeles, where top selected skill players attend photo card shoots, contend for endorsements and receive television exposure. It’s either that or stay at home and miss the mini camp.
For some stupid reason, the Packers are holding their mini camp the same weekend as this event where a lot of the high profile rookie players contend for endrosments and photos for card companies etc. Jackson says he would rather be at the mini-camp but he has no choice as he is being forced to the event.
Pretty messed up rule, we can only hope that the Packer players and coach staff understands what is going on and I am sure they will. We wish Brandon all the best in Green Bay with the Packers!
