Freshman guard Mike Smith has decided to transfer away from the Nebraska Basketball team and attend a Junior College back in New York.  Smith is originally from the Bronx so the move could do him well.  He more then likely wasn’t going to get much playing time and that is what he needs to develope into a better player.

We wish Mike Smith all the best in the future with school and and basketball.
