Former Nebraska Cornhusker offensive linemen Chris Patrick has been signed by the New York Giants and awarded a two year contract sources out of New York are saying. Patrick was passed on during last week’s supplemental draft, but an impressive workout was good enough to earn him a roster spot in New York.
Patrick decided to leave the Husker football team after finding out he would be kicked off or he could leave and enter the supplemental draft. He decided to keep things quite and just go ahead and enter the draft instead of causing a big problem. We aren’t sure what the exact causes were for it all happening so we will leave that at that.
Good luck to Mr. Patrick as he begins his professional football career with the New York Giants.
