Marlon Lucky has been named the Walter Camp player of the week for the first week of the 2007 college football season.  It is no suprise after Lucky ran for a career high 233 yards on 30 carries against Nevada.  Lucky did have 266 all purpose yards as well.

It will be nice to see how Lucky performs against Wake Forest and USC during the next two games.  Hopefully we will see more 100 yard performances out of him and more Husker victories!
