Bo Pelini has been named the official football head coach at the University of Nebraska.  He says he is grateful for the opportunity and is going to jump right into things with recruiting and the coaching staff.

Bo also said there will be an open door policy with former players and coaches.  It is a Nebraska family, and everyone is welcome to come back and be around the team.  That is a lot different then the Steve Pederson and Coach Callahan era!

It will be interesting to see what happens with the assitant coaching positions.  Pelini mentioned that it will all take place in the next few days after he talks with the current staff.  He did mention that he has a few guys in mind as well.  Could be an exciting couple of days Husker Fans!

   I’m hearing rumblings that Bo isn’t happy with The Great T.O. He is offering scholarships and hiring coaches without Bo input……. Say it isn’t sooooo!
