The Nebraska Cornhuskers were a cold shooting team Tuesday night in Boulder, Colorado as they lost 55-51. The Huskers have not won a mens basketball game at Colorado since 2005. If this team really wants to make it to a post season tournament this year, they are going to have to score some more points.
Cookie Miller led the Huskers with 18 points while Aleks Maric chipped in with 14 points. Where has Ryan Anderson been? He was a hot shooter last season, but just doesn’t have the stroke so far in 2008.
This was really a game the Cornhuskers should have won. You have got to win these type of games on the road in the Big 12 if you really want a chance to make it to the big tournament. The Huskers will next play on Saturday night against Baylor. Can we say a must win for Doc Sadler and company?

When you play a patsy schedule like the Huskers have, the team has no idea how to win in the Big 12….and to think a week ago some lame World Herald sports writer had the Huskers ranked 6th in the Big 12….Do you really count the wins against the 315th and 343rd rpi schools???? Look at your next 3 games…can you say 0-5 start in Big 12??….same thing with Huskers football schedule….you play no one year in and year out and when the Big 12 season starts, you get your nose bloodied…You Huskers better start getting used to being an “average” team….Live in the past if you wish, but reality is….it’s OVER!!!!!

as much as i dont want to agree with u im going to…the huskers cant always rely on big man maric to score them points. glad a small young guy named cookie miller had some nuts to step up last night…if the huskers sure up there offense i dont see any problem with them doin well in the big 12 cause sadler has them play defense as well as anyone
