NebraskaNebraska offensive linemen Andy Christensen has been re-instated into the Nebraska football team. Christensen has been out the entire spring and 2008 season so far after going through a sexual assault trial that he was found not guilty in.

Coach Pelini says that Christensen will not play this Saturday against New Mexico State but will practice with the team this week. I would assume that it will take Christensen a while to get back into game shape, but the offensive line sure could use his help.

Coach Pelini has told Christensen and his family that he will be on a zero tolerance policy with alcohol and any other off field incidents. It is Andy’s last chance and hopefully he will learn from his mistakes.

What is your input on this situation? Should Coach Pelini have re-instated Christensen even though he was found not guilty? Click below to leave a comment and let us know what you think.

If the Justice system found him not guilty then I think it is OK for him to play ball. Bo Pelini will keep him on the straight and narrow and away for alcohol. Everybody deserves a second chance. Thanks for the website I put it on my home page.

It was a mistake to let him back on the team. He pleaded guilty to some serious stuff.
