Head Coach Doc Sadler took a recruiting trip to Europe, and has found one player that he really likes. Christopher Niemann who is a 6′11 230 pounder from Germany signed with the Nebraska Cornhuskers and hopes to join the team next year.
However, there will be some paper work that needs to be done, and even more work by the NCAA before Niemann would become eligble. Two of Neimann’s ex teammates had signed with Iowa State and Washington State but were ruled ineligble because some of the players on their team in Europe were paid players. So it will take some time to sort everything out, and hopefully all three players will become eligible next year.
***Nebsports is currently looking for a Nebraska Basketball Fan who would like to contribute to the site and blog about Nebraska Basketball. If you are going to college for Jounalism, Broadcasting, or English etc, this would be a great opportunity for you. If you are interested, please email me and we will talk further.***
