Just a quick heads up that the university just announced that they have received some tickets for the San Jose St. and New Mexico St. games. Tickets were returned from the two universities as they were unable to sell the allotment of tickets.

The Nebraska Football game that will be played on April 19th, is completely sold out per huskers.com. All 65,000 reserved, general admission, and obstructed-view seats have been sold out. The remaining seats are given to people taking the drug free pledge, students, players families, former players, and people in the armed forces.
Talk about Husker fans really stepping up and buying the Husker Tickets up in a hurry. How many other schools out there can say that they sold out their spring game?
Some students will not be able to sit as close to the football field like they are used to as Athletic Directory Tom Osborne has elected to not allow student seating in section 15 anymore. Now, season tickets holders that were behind the student sections in sections 12-15 that complained they couldn’t see because the students always stood, are moving down closer to the field in section 15. That is if they can afford the new donation amount level for those seats.
I know some students are upset over this deal, and it will take some noise away from Memorial Stadium there is no doubt about that. But was the student section really that loud to begin with for most games? They are still getting sections 12-14 in the South Stadium, and the lower corner in the East Stadium. There will still be plenty of seating, it is just getting moved around a bit so hopefully you students won’t be so upset about it.
We would like to hear students, alumni, and general fans thoughts on this. Were you one that got a letter about possibly being moved down to section 15 closer to the field? If so we are intersted in know if your donation levels are in deed going up for those seats. Leave us a comment and let us know what your thinking!
Tickets for the 2008 Dr Pepper Big 12 Football Championship Game on Saturday, December 6, at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, go on sale Friday, February 15, at 10 a.m. (Central).
Tickets can be purchased through all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at (800) 676-5488 or (816) 931-3330 in Kansas City, via the internet at www.ticketmaster.com, or at the Arrowhead Stadium ticket office. Tickets will not be sold through the Big 12 Conference office.
I usually pick up some of these tickets just incase the Huskers do make it to the Big 12 Championship. Nothing like having Husker Tickets for the big game and them making it! If they don’t happen to make it, you can easily resell them on ebay or stubhub.
Tickets are priced at $85, $75, $65 and $55 each based upon location, plus applicable convenience and handling fee charges.
I hope you were all lucky enough to get some Nebraska Volleyball Tickets this morning as they sold out quickly. In fact, it only took 45 minutes for all the Huskers Tickets to be sold out. Fans began camping out in front of the NU Ticket Office as early as Tuesday afternoon, 16 hours before tickets went on sale, and over a dozen people were in line at midnight, hoping to get the best of the limited number of reserved seats that were available.
Were you able to get Tickets? Let us here your story by leaving a comment!
