Kody Spano once was an Oklahoma State recruit, but after de-commiting (wow we have been saying that a lot), and taking a visit to Lincoln this past weekend, he has said yes to the Nebraska Cornhuskers scholarship offer.

One thing that is really nice about Spano joining the Huskers is that he graduated in December from highschool.  Graduating early will allow him to enroll at Lincoln next week and begin classes for the spring semester.  It also means that he will be able to take part in spring ball which will be huge for him.

One other thing nice about picking up Spano is that his dad is an assistant high school football coach in Texas.  Any time you can get the inside track on some players from Texas it will help out in recruiting.  Hopefully Kody enjoys his time in Lincoln, and we can possibly get more players from the same area that Kody came from!
