Nebraska Baseball got what it wished for a top 8 seed for regional and super regional games if they are to advance that far. In the Huskers bracket for regionals that starts this Friday at Hawks Field in Lincoln, Nebraska will face off against Manhattan in the first game and Miami will battle San Francisco in the second game. The Nebraska / Manhattan game will start at 1:05 central time followed by the Miami / San Francisco game at 7:05.
The 16 regional champions advance to super regional play June 9 to 12, which will pare the field to the eight that will advance to play in the 60th College World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium beginning June 16.
