What another terrible game by the Nebraska Basketball team. In front of a packed house and Big-Monday ESPN the Huskers got demolished by the Kansas Jayhawks. The Huskers went 13 straight minutes without scoring in the first half as they were beat right from the beginning.
The second half was a little better as the Huskers outscored the Jayhawks 40-33. But of course it wasn’t near enough to overtake the Jayhawks after their great first half of shotting.
Freshman Ryan Anderson led the Huskers with a career high 19 points. He was 6 for 9 from three point land. Anderson is one bright spot for this team right now, hopefully he will be able to go out there and win some ballgames for the Huskers.
