The Nebraska Football team picked up its 5th commit from the state of Nebraska today as Crete star John Levorson didn’t wait long to accept a scholarship offer after hearing he was being offered around noon today.
Levorson accumulated nearly 1,800 yards of total offense and earned first-team All-Nebraska honors by The World-Herald as a defensive back. He was the honorary captain of the Class B all-state team and also starred in track and field, running the 100-meter dash in 10.8 seconds and clearing 6 feet, 5 inches in the high jump.
Levorson is expected to start out as a saftey project but could also see some time in the linebacker position or wide receiver depending on how how he puts on weight and muscle in Dave Kennedy’s program. Either way, a redshirt will be happening his first year so he can get quicker and stronger.
Welcome to the Husker Family Mr. Levorson!
