The University of Nebraska today annouced that Athletic Director Steve Pederson has agreed to a five year contract extension that will till 2013.  Pederson’s current contract would have expired on June 30, 2008; the extension places the new expiration date at June 30, 2013.

Pederson has been the A.D. since 2003 and really helped out with fundraising for new complexes and kept Nebraska’s good standard of the true student athlete at the top.
